Waah, Sierra Leone Clinic
Underway. Anticipated Completion: April 2024
In the remote village of Waah, the nearest health clinic is 14 miles away. But in Sierra Leone, that usually means travel by foot over rough, dirt roads. To get medical care, it is not unusual to walk 10-14 hours to the nearest health clinic. This clinic will be staffed by a doctor and nurses to provide immediate, local care to the village and shorten the distance those in need must travel to receive life saving care.
